A picture of the world after us — and how quietly relieved it seems to be. With heaven and hell forgotten and the spreadsheets abandoned, nature climbs back onto her throne: forests crack open the concrete, and fish drift lazily down Wall Street. Our hero wanders through the green ruins in search of a warm bed and a future written in green instead of red. It's the end of the world as a happy ending.

Our hero feels the world breathing again
No longer ruled by stories of heaven and hell,
No longer forced to plot numbers in excel
For Nature now reclaims her throne again

The great reforestation,
Caused by the religion abnegation.
Buildings and old beliefs falling apart,
In the spirit of Descartes.

Above, the locus plants arise in arching sway,
Casting soft shade over buildings in decay,
Their roots split open the concrete’s hardened sheet,
While the aquatics swim freely down old Wall Street.

Together they jump the leaves,
On the roads of reflecting skies.
Looking for a warm bed,
And a future that’s Written in green,
instead of red.
