Alone with a dog and a sky of impossible blue, our hero carves through the melting snow and eyes a wind lip for a backflip — equal parts eagle, stone and quiet apocalypse. It's the end of the world felt as pure, weightless joy.

About the work

All alone on this mountain peak,
Where the air is thin
and the melting has begin
The snow once thick, now wet and slow
surrender to springs, warm and gentle glow

The cold hand of winter, has open its grip
soft slushy snow beneath my ski tip
Up ahead is a snow packed wind lip
Let’s se if I can hit it, with a backflip

In this perfect moment, all alone
Im the earth, the wind and the stone
I’m the lone eagle, looking for pray
I’m the apocalypse, that melts away

Looking up and gazing the sky
As I ski through spring, felling alive, and high
It’s just me, my dog and a sky of intense blue
In this moment, it’s all that feels true..
